Working Principle:
- Sound wave technology of this Ultrasonic Level Transmitter enables it to detect precise level of slurries, solid or liquid. Apart from its volume measurement job, this instrument is also used to keep a track on exact volume of passed substances in lift stations and open channel flow level.
- This transmitter is also used for managing pump and also for determining differential level.
- One of its common characteristics is Dead Band or maximum measuring distance. It is basically short range of distance (ahead of its sensor) that this transmitter is incapable of measuring.
Applications of Ultrasonic Level Transmitting Device:
- Used for non contact based measurement of large amount of pastes, liquids and coarse substances without any interruption
- Useful for determining flow in open channels
- Up to 30m range in case of liquid
